Group Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer BP Plc

Michael Starkie is the Chief Accounting Officer of BP plc, responsible for the financial reporting of the Group.

In addition, he is Chairman of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Financial Reporting Panel and a member of the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) Technical Expert Group (TEG), which advises the European Commission on the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards and Interpretations.

Mike has been with BP for thirty-two years and in his current role for over ten years.
