Michael began his career in industry before joining JRBH, working in the oil sector as well as with BAE Systems and various other industrial companies.

While at university Michael won Shell’s award for the “Most Entrepreneurial Student in Scotland". He has a track record for commercial innovation and combines an intuitive understanding of science with an instinct for commercial opportunities.

Michael holds a 1st Class MEng from Strathclyde University.
